Bloomington Gold Corvettes is the longest running all Corvette event in the country and is attended by well over 30,000 people each year. Bloomington Gold is recognized worldwide among car owners for its prestigious judging process of Corvettes and the authentication a Bloomington Gold Certification brings to a Corvette. In addition to judging, Bloomington Gold offers attendees three days of fun filled events including fast laps, autocross, laps on the Iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway and more!
On the third weekend of July, the annual Keeneland Concours d’Elegance will again be held on the beautiful grounds of Kentucky’s renowned Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. We will be showcasing the finest collector vehicles in the country from antiques to future classics. Automobiles and other unique types of vehicles will be judged for their historical accuracy, presentation, and cleanliness. Each class winner and runner-up will receive an award, each entrant will receive a Bluegrass Award ribbon.
This year’s Concours will feature the Corvette as our featured marque.
In addition to the Concours vehicles, the Car Club Paddock has become an important element of our Concours as each club proudly displays their cars for spectators to enjoy. What began as an idea for a car club in Clear Lake in the early 1980’s has grown to become one of the premier Collector car shows in the North Iowa area. Since hosting their first show in 1984, the Clear Lake Auto Social Society annual car cruise and show has grown substantially over the years to having over 550 participants in 2015. The car show is our largest event and is normally held the first full weekend of August.
Some of you may be familiar with “Vettes On The Rockies”- the Looking Glass Corvette Association is again sponsoring a national event in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2020. The dates are 20-23 August, and the host hotel will again be the Steamboat Springs Grand Resort.
