President Denny Waddell called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.. There were 44 members present and 8 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..

Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Error in last month’s minutes was listing the Spring Bash under the Social section. It should have been listed under the Charity section. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Bill Ingersoll and seconded by Sharon Morrissey. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Sherri Brown – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Credits were: New Members, Rallye Checks and Interest. Debits were: John Severs-reimbursement Governor’s Meeting, Donna Jochim-reimbursement Spring Bash. Charity: Credits were: 50/50, No Name Tag Fee, Birthdays/Anniversaries, Pie and Scentsy Basket auction and Spring Bash Proceeds. Debits were: Donation to QC Regional Auto Show Scholarships. Savings Account Main and Charity: no change. Still 1 check outstanding from Christmas donations, membership decided to let it expire, not do a stop payment on it. Motion made by Randy Carlz and seconded by Rick Sherman. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: John Severs – If you normally get the Blue Bars magazine and have not received the latest issue, which came out around March 16th, please contact John. He will try and get you a copy. John also asks that for any Drive Outs, Events, etc., that the Date and Destination/ Event be written on the top of the waiver form along with who is leading or holding the event, so they can be kept in some kind of order, as the Club has to retain them for 3 years.
Membership: Gale Brown – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Gale know, he’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Gale know so he can update the information. The Club has 121 members, 3 new – Wayne and Joan Sours and Erica Walker. Brice and Megan Boemecke joined at the meeting. Gale explained membership dues, Thanked Rita Painter for her offer of $ to anyone bringing in a new member that attends 4 Club events, updated Solis information. We had 8 visitors Olsen, Ebert, Boemecke, Kroger and Johnson.
Social: Carl Burney – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Carl thanked everyone who came to and those who planned the Spring Bash. April 10 is Spring Rallye, April 14 is dinner 6pm at Riverfront Grille in Rock Island IL., April 23 is an Open Drive Out meeting at the former Ascentra Credit Union in LeClaire IA. at 9:30am, April 28 is breakfast 9am at The Family Restaurant in Davenport IA., May 1 is Drive Out to Sterling Main Street Car Show Sterling IL. with eating at Prime Quarter in Princeton IL. Details will be upcoming, May 10 dinner 6pm at Sippi’s in Davenport IA., May 14 is Bruce Petty Garage Day in Milan IL. details pending, May 15 Drive Out to Camp Courageous with details pending, May 24 breakfast 9am at QC Pancake House in Rock Island IL. Carl also read the “Rules of the Road” for Drive Outs. The radios the Club uses on Drive Outs are listed on the website with the information for them. Preliminary plans for a September 17,18 and possibly 19 Waterfall and Wineries Drive Out is in the works, more details to follow on that. Carl is most likely changing the dinners over to ice cream gatherings now that the weather is getting nice again.
Speed: Butch Thomsen – Spring Rallye is April 10. Workers need to be at Eriksen’s 7:30/7:45am. registration opens at 8am with 2 events held there, driver meeting at 9:30am. and first car out at 10am. with lunch at Luli’s in Milan IL. Come out and enjoy this fun day!
Communications: Deanna Glossop – was Thanked by Denny for getting things lined up with the QC Regional Auto show and also those who volunteered their car for the Club showing and those working, taking the time to promote the Club during the show. Deanna has been busy as her husband Bryan had gall bladder surgery and has been in the hospital since March 17th. It looks like he will be able to go home this Friday (April 8th). Sherry Zaruba asked for some help from anyone in the Club interested, for some direction with the car classes of Corvettes at Vettes on the River this year. Discussed Al Fiscus museum brick and dedication. A committee consisting of John Severs, Gale Brown, Butch Thomsen and Denny Waddell will begin going forward on this.
Charity: Donna Jochim – Thanked the committee for all their work on the Spring Bash, especially Sharon Langel who did the shopping, held meetings at her home, fed everyone and came up with great game ideas. Asked for a donation to Izaac Walton League, motion by Mike Alvarado and seconded by Anne Sherman. Motion carried. 50/50 winners were Gale Brown (donated back) and John Severs. Had a Thank You card for a donation given. Michelle Ingersoll asked for a donation to help with medical expenses for their pastor whose son has been in the hospital. Motion by Carol Mathias and seconded by John Severs. Motion carried.

There have been updates that Chuck has been working on that may have interrupted your ability to be on the website for a short time, but now is done and should make it better. Great job Chuck!
Car Shows: Roger Miller – was absent. He got hurt and had to have 10 staples in his head. Links on the website! If you know of any local car shows let Roger know.

Quartermaster: Kathy Nelson & Rita Painter – Rita had some clothing from a new outlet for us. It is http//shop-ei.com/collections
Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Suggested that with May being the Club Anniversary month, we have a cake and ice cream at the May 3rd Business Meeting.
Sunshine: Linda Thomsen – 5 cards were sent out this month. Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Linda.
Old Business: None
New Business: Bruce Petty has invited the Club out to his Garage Day on May 14th in Milan IL. Lunch provided, bring your favorite drinks and lawn chairs. An email will be sent out with the details. Camp Courageous Drive Out will have details at the May meeting. Rita Painter presented Denny Waddell with a framed photo/article of Al Fiscus and also presented a shadow box to stay at Eriksen’s as a tribute to Al Fiscus. A donation was taken from members present to help with the cost of the shadow box. Everyone was invited to City Limits after the meeting and asked to help clean up the meeting room. Meeting adjourned 7:35pm.
