President Quint Early called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 35 members present and 2 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..
Reminder that anyone wishing to donate $ for Birthday/Anniversary/No Name Tag, to please do so at the beginning of the meeting and as your winning bid is accepted for auction items to please pay right away. Discussed open drive out schedule (please sign up to lead one) and there will be the Christmas in July again this year (date pending).
Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Steve Kean and seconded by Bob Hebestreit. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Open – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Credits were: Dividend. Debits were: Secretary of State-Change Agent Fee. Charity: Credits were: 50/50, Birthdays/Anniversaries and Auction items. Debits were: Community Action of Eastern Iowa. Savings Account Main and Charity remain unchanged. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Robbie Bentley and seconded by John Severs. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: John Severs – Everyone should have gotten their NCCC cards, if not contact John. Learned at the Governor’s meeting that changes to car show judging will now be C-1 through C-7 exterior, interior and engine, C-8 is just exterior and interion. For best in show all will be judged on exterior and interior only.
Membership: Kristin Early – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Kristin know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Kristin know so she can update the information. Our visitor was Bryant Wynes (wife Betty) who own a 2001 red convertible and they have signed up to join our Club.
Social: Carl Burney – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Breakfast Club meets at D’Lua 5185 18th St. Bettendorf IA March 14 at 9 am. Spring Bash is at Izaak Walton League 8840 N Harrison St. Davenport IA March 19 11:30 am-3:30 pm. Dinner Club meets at Tapp 22 1443 1st St Silvis IL March 27 at 5:30 pm. (note time change). Drive out April 1st going to Alexander’s Steak House in Peoria IL meets at 8:30 am leaves at 9 am at McDonalds 16th/36th Moline IL. Spring Rallye April 16 registration starts at 8 am. first car out at 9:30 am. meets at Eriksen Chevrolet 325 1st Ave. E Milan IL. Lake of the Ozarks weekend April 27-30 meets at noon from I-74 eastbound rest area (mile marker 28) leave at 12:15 pm. May 6th the Petty’s will host at their garage party, more details to follow. Will hold Christmas in July again this year possible dates are either the 8th or the 23rd. Contact Robbie Bentley if you’d like to help. Discussed radios and drive out rules.
Speed: Sean McKay – Spring Rallye is April 16th. Registration begins at 8 am. Meets at Eriksen Chevrolet 325 1st Ave. Moline IL. Driver meeting 9:15 with first car out at 9:30 am. You don’t have to drive a Corvette to participate and your friends and family can do this as well! You do need 2 people per car. Come out and enjoy the fun.
Communications: Michelle Ingersoll – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Michelle and she can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email and you are set up to receive emails.
Charity: Donna Jochim – 50/50 winners were Rick Sherman and Del Straub. Got a Thank You card from Community Action. Spring Bash is March 19th 11:30-3:30. Invite your family and friends to join us. Kathy Nelson brought a request to help Brandon Bowden who has brain cancer, with medical expense, motion made by Deanna Glossop and seconded by John Severs. Motion carried. Auction items: Maui sunset basket – Debi McKay winning bid, Dutch apple pie – Bruce Petty winning bid.

Car Shows: Roger Miller – Car Shows are on the Calendar. There are also links to external sites that list car shows. If you know of any local car shows let Roger know. Reported that there were 25-30 new listings on the website for shows.
Publicity: Open position- No report
Parades: Jim Scranton – No report
Quartermaster: Rita Painter – Had all items on display. Reminded the membership of the 1 hour, drive her C8, bidding for the Spring Bash. Will go to the 3 highest bidders.
Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Rick Sherman told the members that Waldo has had a couple of heart stents put in and will have a couple more done in a couple of weeks. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. No report.
Sunshine: Cindy Kuehner – Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Cindy. Cards have been sent to 2 members.

Old Business: John Severs asked about the bigger cards the Club had in the past, to pass out. Has talked to the printer about having more made and the cost. Would like to have more made and give some to our liaison with Eriksen’s, Erica, to give to anyone buying a Corvette. Motion for 150 cards to be printed made by Rick Sherman and seconded by Bill Morrissey III. Motion carried.
New Business: The Club needs someone to step up and take the Treasurer position. If you can balance a checkbook, you can do this position. Discussed Fall drive to Winnona, looking at the first part of October (6-8).
Asked members to help clean up meeting room and invited all to Luli’s after.
