President Quint Early called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 47 members present and 6 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..

Kristin Early was acting President as Quint was absent. Sign-up sheets were passed for the Volo Museum weekend(August), Christmas in July volunteers and will need a head count for attendance to have enough meat and Winona weekend(October). Reminder that Birthday/Anniversaries/Name tag donations should be done at the beginning of the meeting.

Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Robbie Bentley and seconded by Bill Ingersoll. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Bob Hebestreit – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Credits were: Rallye Registrations/Event and dividend. Debits were: John Severs for Club Dealer Cards, Seed money for Rallye, Stamps and Gale Brown for Burgers for Christmas in July event. Charity: Credits were: 50/50/ Birthdays/Anniversaries/Name Tags and Auction. Debits were: Sarah DeFrang donation. Savings Account Main and Charity: remain the same. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Deanna Glossop and seconded by Jeff Olson. Motion carried.

Governor’s Report: John Severs – Reported on the discussion of allowing electric vehicles in drive outs and competitions. NCCC events will allow for the Corvette ERay.

Membership: Kristin Early – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Kristen know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Kristin know so she can update the information. Denny Waddell and Fay have rejoined as members, owning a 2001 Navy Blue Corvette. 3 couples attended the meeting and had their membership papers ready to turn in. They are Jim and Marie Foster who own a 2008 Victory Red Corvette, Don and Patti Mewes who own a 2003 Anniversary Corvette and Doyle and Mary Roos who own a 2013 Anniversary Grand Sport Corvette. Kristin passed a membership list around for everyone present to check that their information was correct.

Social: Carl Burney – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Carl spoke about the Lake of the Ozarks drive out saying it was a really great time. May 6 Petty’s Garage Show, Party 3 pm at 305 106th Ave W, Milan IL. Everyone is asked to bring a food item to share, camp chairs and your drink of choice (pop and water will be provided). May 8 Breakfast 9 am at Davenport Family Restaurant 902 W Kimberly Rd. Davenport IA. May 13 Open Drive Out 9:30 am., leaves 10 am meet at former Ascentra CU 949 Mississippi View Ct. LeClaire IA. May 18 Ice Cream Club 6:30 pm Smilee’s 911 11th St. DeWitt IA. If you want to join a group driving there meet at 6 pm service road in front of Riverstone Group 190 22nd St Moline IL. May 21 Open Drive Out 9:30 am., leaves 10 am meet at former Ascentra CU 949 Mississippi View Ct LeClaire IA. August 5-6 Volo Museum trip 9:30 am., leaves at 10 am from former Ascentra CU 949 Mississippi View Ct. LeClaire IA. Book room at Clarion Pointe Hotel 847-395-3606. August 13 Low Speed 7 am Brady Street Stadium. More to follow. August 26 Vettes on the River 8 am LeClaire IA. More to follow. October 6-8 Winona drive out. Plaza Hotel 507-453-0303 for rooms. April 27-29, 2024 Waterfalls and Wineries drive out. Country Inn and Suites 563-387-9011 for rooms.

Speed: Sean McKay – Discussed the Rallye. 12 cars participated, 10 Corvettes and 2 non-Corvettes. Winners were non-Corvettes: Quint and Kristin Early for Questions and Poker, Roger and Justin Miller for Mileage. Corvette winners were: Jeff and Gail Olson for Questions and Mileage and Ron and Carol Mathias for Poker. Volunteer hours added up to 108.5 hours. Lake of the Ozarks weekend 11 cars went and were spotted several times over the course of days on drives they went on. It was a great chance to get to know other members of the Club better and everyone had a wonderful time. Would like to do this again next year.

Communications: Michelle Ingersoll – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Michelle and she can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email and you are set up to receive emails.

Charity: Donna Jochim – 50/50 winners were Sharon Morrissey and Jeff Olson. Sarah DeFrang sent a Thank you note for the donation to her Church Mission trip she is going on. Strawberry/Rhubarb pie auction went to Jeff Bellmyer.

Parades: Jim Scranton – no report

Quartermaster: Rita Painter – no new clothing items. Talked about being Queen for the Lake of the Ozarks weekend and being watched over by the others attending and donated to Charity in appreciation for all the help she received.

Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Nothing to report. Was asked how he was feeling and reported he is doing well.

Sunshine: Cindy Kuehner – Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Cindy. 2 cards were sent out.

Old Business: Christmas in July, bring a food item to share. Need some volunteers and will meet with them the first part of July to set up who does what and when. Also doing a white elephant gift exchange. Interested people contact Robbie Bentley.

New Business: Kristen Early asked if anyone was thinking of going to Bloomington Gold June 1-3. 2 people said they might. Early’s are planning to go so maybe meet up and go together. Question asked about July 4th Business Meeting date. It will be changed to the 11th of July.
