President Denny Waddell called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 36 members present and 0 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..

Deanna Glossop discussed the QC Car show, sign-up sheet for volunteers to attend, a VIP event time of 5-8:30 pm on Thursday night (limited to 20 people). Asked all to wear your Club Corvette shirts and Club name tags while attending (name tag gets you in free or NCCC card). Thanked all those who are showing their cars. Erica Walker, our liaison with Eriksen’s discussed the Corvette orders that will be starting later this month and that they are getting some transports in with new vehicles, so the lot isn’t quite so empty.

Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Mike Alvarado and seconded by Bill Ingersoll. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Sherri Brown – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Credits were: Al Fiscus Memorial collected by Denny Waddell and interest. Debits were: Secretary of State Change Agent Fee(address change) and Team 218 Web Management Annual Invoice. Charity: Credits were: 50/50, No Name Tags, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Pie/cookies/bread/dipped pretzels auction and interest. Debits were: None. Savings Account Main and Charity: remains the same. Motion to accept Treasure report was made by Jeff Olson and seconded by Carol Mathias. Motion carried.

Governor’s Report: John Severs – Discussed attending the NCCC Regional and National Governor’s meetings in St. Louis. Thanked Butch and Linda Thomson for also going for moral support, as this was John’s first time attending. The scholarship program is open on the NCCC website until May 1st and the Family helping Family program, which is a list of NCCC Corvette owners willing to help another Corvette owner if they have problems while traveling in your area, all are listed in the Members Only section.

Membership: Gale Brown – We have 117 members, with 12 of those being Lifetime. NCCC cards should have been mailed to you, check to make sure yours has all numbers on it, if some are missing get ahold of Gale or John Severs to get it corrected. If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Gale know, he’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Gale know so he can update the information.

Social: Carl Burney – was absent. Sharon Langel discussed Spring Bash and sign-up sheets were at the table for members to sign. Sue Severs gave the lineup for breakfasts and dinner meets. Walking at South Park Mall every Tuesday, meet at Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance 5:30 pm. March 4-6 QC Regional Auto Show at Bend XPO Center 922 Mississippi Parkway East Moline IL. March 9 Dinner 6 pm. Machine Shed 7250 Northwest Blvd. Davenport IA. March 20 Spring Bash 11 am – 3 pm Izaak Walton League 8402 N. Harrison St. Davenport IA. March 23 Breakfast 9 am. Valley Country Club 24487 Valley Drive Bettendorf IA. April 14 Dinner 6 pm. Riverfront Grill 4619 34th St. Rock Island IL. April 28 Breakfast 9 am. The Family Restaurant 902 W. Kimberly Rd. Davenport IA. We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out.

Speed: Butch Thomsen – passed a sign-up sheet for the Spring Rallye. The flier is on the NCCC Competition calendar and will be ending at Luli’s in Milan. He also talked about how beneficial it was to tag along at the Governor’s Meetings in St. Louis. Denny spoke about the Rallye being a Fun Social Event for anyone to attend.

Communications: Deanna Glossop – has sent out a couple of emails, one on the QC Car Show and one on Upcoming Events. Asked if anyone knew where the Club Banner is, if you know give Deanna a call, we’d like to have it for the car show. She also has some Friends Passes for the car show if you would like to have a couple for free entry for your friends.

Charity: Donna Jochim – was absent. Linda Thomson had the honors. 50/50 winners were Bill Morrissey Sr. and Quint Early. Discussed a donation to the QC Car show for their scholarship awards, a motion was made by Bill Ingersoll and seconded by Deb Alvarado. Motion carried. Pie auction went to Rita Painter for the Chocolate Meringue pie and Jeff Olson bid highest on the Scentsy Basket auction.

Sunshine: Linda Thomsen – 3 cards were sent out to members. Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Linda.

Old Business: No old business to discuss.

New Business: Tom Marckese talked about his experience with the Firestone Store out by South Park Mall, has run flat tires for sale. Roger Miller talked about small (2×3) static clings of the Club Logo that are inside clings for our cars, decided to wait on new Logo being designed by Jane Huber before purchasing 100 of these clings. Motion made by Denny Waddell and seconded by John Severs. Motion carried.
Members were asked to help clean up the meeting room and invited to City Limits.
