President Patric Nichols called the meeting to order at 6:32PM. There were 47 members present and 0 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..
Reminder to set phones to silent, wear nametags to all Club functions and donate for Birthdays/Anniversaries/No Name Tag at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Signup sheets passed for car show raffle, low speed volunteers, car show t-shirts and membership list to update. Chairperson vacancies: Publicity, Parade and Photo.
Secretary’s Report: Jan Ebert – Jan was absent, Susan Severs filled in. The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Patti Bellmyer and seconded by Michelle Ingersoll. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Carl was absent, Patric filled in. Secretary did not get a copy to list the various credits and debits. Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Income was: $$$$ Expense was: $$$$ Charity: Income was: $$$$ Expense was: $$$$. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Robbie Bentley and seconded by Gary Huff. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: Roger Miller – Each person must sign a waiver. Spouses/ Significant other can not sign for you. Please sign legibly. NCCC Tech Inspection form used for Low Speed events has changed, please throw away any outdated forms. Certificate of Insurance for our Low Speed has been received for July 11 & 12th at the Isle Casino in Bettendorf. Diane Wagner, the Governor’s wife of Northern Rays, has offered to print the Tech forms and waivers for our Low Speed. Roger really appreciated this as it’s a tedious task that she had figured out some shortcuts to. Anyone planning on driving our Low Sped, see Roger for helmet rules. Must be SNELL Foundation certified and within 10 years. A rating of “K” (karting) is not allowed. DOT approval is not sufficient without the SNELL certification.
Membership: Cindy Kuehner – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Cindy know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Cindy know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. Membership is standing at 111 members; a list was passed for members present to update any of their information and a reminder that renewals begin in August.
Social: Kristin Early – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Kristin asked who eats breakfast, Tom Hampton raised his hand, so Kristin told him he got to plan the Breakfast meet for July. Most every month is open for Breakfast for volunteers to plan. Dinners will begin again in November as we do Ice Cream gatherings for the summer months. July 11& 12 Low Speed event at Isle Casino Bettendorf IA. July 19 Drive Out to Manny’s meet at Principal Financial Group 5207 Competition Drive Bettendorf IA. July 21 Ice Cream Whitey’s vs. Country Style 1601 Ave of the Cities Moline IL 6:30pm. August 8 Arthur Illinois Drive out with Galesburg Glass Club meet at Hardee’s in Knoxville Illinois 8:30am, lunch at Yoder’s Kitchen 1195 East Columbia St Arthur IL., leave 3:15pm, arrive in Bloomington 5pm., Destihl Brewety for dinner 318 Towanda Ave. Normal IL. 6:30 head home. Please RSVP Nancy Swanson 309-781-3360 for head count. August 17 Ice Cream 6:00pm. Country Style 3491 Tanglefoot Ln Bettendorf IA. August 18-24 Beartooth Highway Drive out Sean and Debi McKay leading, contact Sean for info 309-235-0242. August 29 Galesburg Corvette Club fundraiser drive out Meet 9am, leave 9:30am from Scooter’s Coffee/BP Station 2008 Deere Dr. Milan IL. August 30 Picnic in the Park & Drive out. Drive out meets at McDonald’s 1403 Eagle Ridge Rd LeClaire Ia 9:30am
Speed: Jeff Bellmyer – Low Speed Event coming up July 11&12. Set up on the 10th meet at 3pm at Isle Casino. 7am start on the 11th for volunteers, 8am start on the 12th for volunteers. Saturday night will be a dinner with everyone.
Communications: Jeff Olson – Jeff was absent, Patric filled in. Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Jeff and he can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email to sign up to receive emails.
Charity: Patti Bellmyer- 50/50 winners were, John Severs and Cindy Kuehner.

If you have suggestions or ideas for website improvements, please let Jess know. F.Y.I. Members are able to update information in your user profile including information on your Corvette such as Model, Year, Color, and License Plate #.
Car Shows: Jeff Bellmyer – Car Shows are on the Mid-West Corvettes Calendar on the. There are also links to external sites that list car shows. If you know of any local car shows let Jeff know. July 25 Oneida Car show 9-12 registration, awards at 3 pm. July 26 Bishop Hill Car show 8-11:30 registration, awards at 3 pm. Other car shows in Walcott, Monmouth, Durant, Low Moor and Davenport.

Old Business: looks like everything is set for the Low Speed. Club Car show could use some volunteers, talk to Del Traub, Terry Johnson or Patric Nichols. Patric volunteered Jenn for raffles. Reminder that our Club will have it’s own category for members showing and will be completely separate from the rest. 3 copies of Blue Bars free for the taking.
New Business: Christmas/Awards Banquet December 13th at noon at Lavendar Crest in Colona IL. Kristin Early and Donna Jochim are heading things up and would like volunteers to help. A couple of open spots for Drive outs still. Gale Brown has some Club window clings $5.
Galesburg Club Fundraiser (Honor Flight) is August 29th at the ELKS Club, John Severs will lead a drive out, info forthcoming. After meeting dinner at Luli’s 1213 10th Ave. West, Milan IL.
