President Patric Nichols called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 28 members present and 2 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..
Reminder to set phones to silent, wear nametags to all Club functions and donate for Birthdays/Anniversaries/No Name Tag at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Sheets going around; the Club needs someone to be in charge of the Breakfast Club; member(s) sign up for once a month, you pick the restaurant of where to meet. Same for the Dinner Club. Membership sheet is going around; please check that your contact information is correct. On the Board, we have a vacancy for Social Director. Committee vacancies are Publicity, Parades, and Photos.
Secretary’s Report: Jan Ebert – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Sue Severs and seconded by Del Traub; passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Beginning balance $7,533.97. Credits: $0.30 December dividend, $600 from Ericksen Chevrolet for Club sponsorship. Debits: $1,985.09. Funds on hold from Car Show profit $1,874.68. Total available funds: $4,274.50. Charity: Beginning balance $3,529.14. Credits: $320.99. Debits: $2,054. Outstanding check: $200; funds in Charity account: $1,596.13. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by John Severs, second by Bruce Petty. Report accepted.
Note: 2025 Awards banquet came in under budget by $104.22.
Governor’s Report: Roger Miller – We are passing around our updated membership list for you to check for accuracy. Please write in any updates or changes. If there isn’t enough room on this list, please make notes on the back of the page.

Jeff Olson and I have visited about opening up Facebook to non-members in an effort to generate more interest in our club. Is there a downside to doing this? I would like to open this up for discussion.
The next Governor’s meeting in St. Louis is on February 21, 2026.
Membership: Cindy Kuehner – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Cindy know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Cindy know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. There’s a form going around to check your membership/contact info. No new members. Guests Marilyn and John Rothenberger.
Social: Open for a member to step up and lead – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out.

Communications: Jeff Olson – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Jeff and he can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email to sign up to receive emails.
Report from Jeff via Patric: Have you been receiving his email communications? If not, please check your SPAM folder and if nothing is in there, please contact Jeff. If there are any updates to Drive Outs, Dinner Club, and Breakfast Club, please shot an email to Jeff.
Charity: Patti Bellmyer- Lots of thank you cards received from the 2025 donations. The thank you from Teagan especially stood out since she received care from St. Jude’s and the Car Show was for St. Jude’s. Drawing for Corvette book was won by Jeff Bellmyer. Pie certificate was won by Troy Eichelberger. 50/25/25 raffle was $15 each to Jeff Bellmyer and Troy Eichelberger. Mystery gift raffle was won by Sean McKay which was a replica model car of his Corvette. For our donation to Sprint Car Hall of Fame, a certificate is on second floor wall in the Museum.

Car Shows: Jeff Bellmyer – Car Shows are on the Mid-West Corvettes Calendar on the. There are also links to external sites that list car shows. If you know of any local car shows let Jeff know. Car show at the Bend is January 16-18. Club member Kevin Koehler will have his ZR1 there. Veterans Car Show will be at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds weekend of March 27-29. We are waiting on a reply to see if this year is going to have Corvettes in it.

Quartermaster: Rita Painter – New hats and sweatshirts with and without the emblem are available. As an aside, Rita sold her blue Corvette to a Jeff Bennett from Galesburg. Rita filled him in our club.
Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Nothing to report.
Sunshine: Gail Olson – Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. Sympathy card to Debi and Sean McKay on the passing of Debi’s mom. No birthdays, anniversaries, and missing name tags this month.

Old Business: 2025 Awards Banquet was a great event and the committee was thanked for the great party and coming in under budget. Award for Rookie of the Year for 2025 who has done a lot for the club was to Dave Hanegmon; he wasn’t at the banquet so it was awarded tonight.
Did anyone go to the Galesburg dinner on Sunday 1/4/26? Discussion about NCCC and about asking other clubs to our club events.
New Business: Patti Bellmyer asked for a $200 donation from Charity to the Olsen family for their grandson’s heart surgery. Motion by Carol Mathias, second by Sue Severs. Passed.
