President Patric Nichols called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 35 members present and 2 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..
Reminder to set phones to silent, wear nametags to all Club functions and donate for Birthdays/Anniversaries/No Name Tag at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Sign-up sheets for Breakfast Club, Dinner Club, Awards Banquet/Christmas party, and euchre/potluck are being passed around. Openings on Publicity, Parade, and Photos committees.
Secretary’s Report: Jan Ebert – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Sheila Petty, seconded by Gale Brown. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Income and expenses left an available balance of $4,053.92. Charity: Income was: $172.00, available balance of $3,593.14. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Sue Severs, seconded by Gale Brown. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: Roger Miller – November 15 is the NCCC meeting and Roger will be there.
Membership: Cindy Kuehner – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Cindy know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Cindy know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. Need to hear from a list of people and ask them what their intentions are for rejoining. Discussions regarding same. We had 111 members as of renewal and then six dropped out. 88 current members until these others are paid.
Social: Donna Jochim – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead one drive out. Dinner Club November 11 at Tap 22. Euchre November 15 at Donna’s. Breakfast Club November 18. Muscle Cars and National November 22. Awards Banquet/Christmas Party: Discussion regarding $500 for awards, prizes, dessert, etc. for this. Motion by Deanna Glossop, second by John Severs, passed.
Speed: Jeff Bellmyer – slow time of the year; nothing to report.
Communications: Jeff Olson – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Jeff and he can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email to sign up to receive emails. Via MWC’s Facebook page, Jeff received a message regarding a blue Corvette; it’s the same email Waldo received a year ago from someone trying to locate a relative’s car from years ago. Once the membership list is updated, it will be updated on the FB page. thank you to Kristin and Quint Early who led the drive out in October. Rolly Bogert wasn’t able be on this drive-out; the Earlys led the group. Jeff presented them with an apple pie for the great job.
Charity: Patti Bellmyer- Deanna Glossop asked for a donation of $200 from charity for her niece as Samantha Tinklepaugh’s husband Robert was killed in a head-on crash in Alcester, South Dakota. Motion by Patti Bellmyer, second by Ross Scott; motion passed as no discussion was needed. 50/25/25 drawing: Rita Painter and Bill Morrissey, Sr. each $20. Drawings also for bottles of Shine Tire. Pie drawing won by Cindy Kuehner. Nominations for our charity giving were discussed for the following:

Old Business: Constitution and Bylaws: the documents were presented by being on the MWC website as well as printed copies with the edits were placed on the table by the officers. These will be voted on in December.
Mileage contest: Sean McKay still needs a few numbers yet.
New Business: New Drive-out: To Montana and Wyoming, including Yellowstone, August 18-24, 2026. Let Sean McKay know if you are interested.
Guests: Eric and Susan Fentem; they have a 2012 C6.
Del Traub said Mike Yager with Mid American Corvette, Effingham, is retiring and moving to Florida. He is selling all of his memorabilia and there is a lot.
It’s time to pay for our website; yearly charge is $720 which breaks down to $60 per month. Discussion about using the website and some issues; Chuck has add-ons on the back end and Jess is working through. The host server has been the problem. Motion by Kristin Early, second by Michelle Ingersoll to pay this bill. Motion passed.
Fun Facts by Jeff Olson.
Nominations for Hall of Honor by Gale Brown. They are: Randy and Jane Huber; Denny Waddell; Al Fiscus is on there. Motion by Kristin Early and second by Ross Scott to add to Hall to Fame. Passed.
Officer and committee positions: we still need a Social Director for 2026. Gail Olson declined; Kristin Early nominated Patti Bellmyer; declined. Jenn Nichols was nominated; Patric will ask her as she was not present. The slate was uncontested. Kristin Early moved to accept; second by Marie Foster; passed.
Motion to adjourn meeting by Patti Bellmeyer, second by Sue Severs. Meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
