President Patric Nichols called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 34 members present and 2 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..
Reminder to set phones to silent, wear nametags to all Club functions and donate for Birthdays/Anniversaries/No Name Tag at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Sign up for Dinner Club, Christmas Party. Ballots are being sent around for officers for next year; you many nominate anyone you want. Social Position is open; Donna Jochim is not running again. Chairperson openings: Publicity, Parades, Photos. Ballots are being passed around for nominations for 2026 Board of Directors.
Secretary’s Report: Jan Ebert – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Roger Miller, and seconded by Marie Foster. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Balance starting is $5,974.50; income was Car Show sponsorship; dividends. Expense was: Quint Early (car show ballots), Quint Early (sponsorship overpayment), NCCC, Northern Rays Corvette Club. Charity: Income was: 50/50, raffles and Auctions. Expense was: None. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Tom Hampton and seconded by Patti Bellmyer. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: Notes from National Governors meeting: 17,182 members in NCCC in 2024; 17,437 members now. 92 National Corvette Museum deliveries as of 9/13/25. Dues increase passed as $50 for primary, $15 for spouse/SO/partner, $500 for lifetime for existing members.
Eleven rule changes to the Competition Manual which I voted on electronically: 1) 150 mile minimum between like events changed to 100 mile minimum. 2) Mandatory Parade laps at speed events unless waived by majority of participants the Drivers’ meeting. 3) Recommending transponders to time High Speed and Time Trials. Also adding cell phones to qualify as a form of timing. 4) Updating current roll bar standards. 5) Add decibel noise level restriction requirements. 6) Speed event re-classification to Corvette Generation Classes. (These were the listed items in Governor’s report.)

Discussion held on speed event reclassification to Corvette Generation. Approve the 35% on Speed event on Generation Classes. Motion by Michelle Ingersoll, seconded by Bill Morrissey, Sr. Motion passed.
Membership: Cindy Kuehner – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Cindy know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Cindy know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. Pay dues before November 1, 2025; after that, it is an extra $10 for the late penalty.
Guests are Doug Russ, wife is April. Richard Larson/Larsen who also took third place for his C4 at the Car Show.
Social: Donna Jochim – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead one drive out. Open drive out 10/12; Breakfast Club 10/16; La Crosse Fall drive out 10/17-19; Dinner Club 10/22; Euchre 10/24 at Donna Jochim’s home; Severs lead drive out 10/25.
Speed: Jeff Bellmyer – Nothing to report; we’re in sleep mode.
Communications: Jeff Olson – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Jeff and he can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email to sign up to receive emails. Thank you everybody for the help at the Car Show; a lot of people had a hand in it. Fifty entries to the Car Show; MWCC had 28-29 cars on display.
Charity: Patti Bellmyer- Thank you letter and picture from Sarah DeFang. Apple pie won by Waldo; triple berry pie won by Bill Ingersoll. 50/25/25 winners won $16.50 each and they were Bill Morrissey, Sr. and Terry Johnson.

Quartermaster: Rita Painter – nothing new. If you want something to be sewed/embroidered with the MWCC emblem, let her know and she can get it done for you.

Sunshine: Gail Olson – via Jeff Olson: sung happy birthday to Sue Severs; thank you and thinking of you cards sent by Gail. Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted.

Old Business: Car Show: Sean McKay: thank you to all for the help with the 65th anniversary Car Show. Thank you to Jeff and Gail Olson for donating money for the porta-poopers. There were three places for each class: registered were the following: two cars in C1; four cars in C2; 10 cars in C3, five cars in C4; six cars in C5; four cars in C6; 10 cars in C7; nine cars in C8. 28 or 29 MWCC members displayed their cars. 78 or 79 in the show. Thank you to Bob Bateman for the 300 pictures he too. Over 2000 updated to the Club’s website. 65th Anniversary Car Show October 4, 2025, was created on Facebook by Carl Burney. Profit for St. Jude’s $1,874.68. Easiest way to send the money is to send it to the Peoria Club as they are very active with St. Jude’s. Does Sean want to go? Jeff Olson: Table it until February regarding going on the St. Jude’s drive in May. Date for next year’s drive is May 14-15. Carl talked about adding to the money to have it be an even $2,000. Jeff Olson made a motion, seconded by Roger Miller, to table this until the December meeting. Motion passed.
New Business: Christmas party awards banquet is December 7; 12 o’clock to meet; lunch served at 1:00. Lavender Crest Winery, same menu as last year. November 11 is our head count cut-off date so no refund after that.
Discussion re change to an amendment of the Constitution; debate on this tabled until next month. Send the documents as a courtesy; it’s each member’s responsibility to come to the meetings to see what is going on
