Vice-President Rick Sherman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
37 members were present and 1 guest. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders.
Voting for the 2022 Board of Directors was held. Asked membership if there was anyone else wishing to be considered for a Board position, all declined. Since all positions had only 1 person running a motion to accept those persons as chosen was made by John Severs and seconded by Don VanDeWoestyne. Motion carried. The Club’s 2022 Board of Directors will be: President-Denny Waddell, Vice President-Deanna Glossop, Secretary-Susan Severs, Treasurer-Sherri Brown, Governor-Al Fiscus, Membership-Gale Brown, Social-Carl Burney, Speed-Butch Thomsen and Charity-Donna Jochim.
Secretary’s Report: The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the October Minutes as submitted was made by Bob Nelson and seconded by Anne Sherman. Motion carried.
Treasurers’ Report: Sherri Brown passed around a current Club’s balance sheet for members to see. Credits were: Membership Renewals and Interest. Debits were: DeBords Catering, Camden Center-cleaning fee, Camden Center-table cloths and Waldo Arnholz-program reimbursement. Charity: Credits were: 50/50, No Name Tags, Birthdays and Anniversaries. Debits were: None. Savings Account Main and Charity: Interest. Motion to accept Treasurer Report made by Jeff Olson and seconded by Butch Thomsen. Motion carried.
Governor’s Report: Al Fiscus talked about our Club being the first in our region to get our NCCC dues in this year!
Membership: Gale Brown reported that we have 120 members. Gale had information cards on Corvette Adventures June 9-11th in Wisconsin that he passed out. Our visitor was Shawn McKay who owns a ‘99 Torch Red Corvette. If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club Name Tag let Gale know and he will get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Gale know so he can get the information corrected. Updated list is on the website. Rita Painter will pay any Club member/couple who brings in a new member $50 during the next year, with the idea that the new member attend at least 1 Business meeting and 2 other Events and the party receiving the money can keep it, donate a share of it to our Charity, or donate the full amount.
Social: Nov 6 Drive out to Lanark IL and the Crooked Roof will be led by Gail and Sherri Brown. Meet at the former Ascentra Credit Union in LeClaire IA. 9:30am, driver meeting at 9:45, leave at 10am. Since weather is a possible issue, you do not have to drive your Corvette. We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead at least 1 drive out this year.
Speed: Butch Thomsen. Nothing to discuss as events are over for the year. Will be looking at March for setting up volunteers for the Spring Ralley.
Communications: Rick Sherman heads communications. Award dinner to be held Dec. 12th 3pm. At Eriksen’s. Meal will include Chicken, 2 sides, rolls, soft drinks and water at no cost to the members, the Club will pay for this part of the meal. Motion for $ to spend on this made by Bill Ingersoll and seconded by Bryan Glossop. Motion carried. A dessert sign up sheet was passed for Club members to volunteer to bring dessert dishes.
Charity: Donna Jochim. 50/50 winners were Bill Morrissey Sr. and Mike Heard. Jeff Olson brought in a Coconut Creme pie for auction this month with the winning bid going to Sherri Brown. Discussion on Bikes/helmets for Toys for Tots, 16 bikes were purchased and helmets ordered, the bikes will be delivered on Dec. 3 to Toys for Tots, a few Corvettes will lead the loaded trailer(Club Banner on the side) in for unloading, time to be determined. The BOD has come up with a list for Charities (will list in December minutes) for donating to this year and will be asking for $ for that and also for moving $ from the main account into the Charity account to replenish the funds. Discussion of holding a Winter Bash late January or in February was held.

Car Show: Roger Miller was absent. Links on website! If you know of any local car shows, let Roger know. Carl Burney brought up Muscle Car National Nov. 20th Rosemont IL. If interested in going contact Carl as he is planning to go.
Publicity: Blue Bars is behind and our Club photo and article (written by Denny Waddell’s daughter) will appear in the February 2022 (Winter issue) with a back cover photo.
Parade: Jim Scranton heads parades.
Quartermaster: Kathy Nelson. The back ordered shirts are not in yet, hopes to be in the next couple of weeks. No orders will be taken at the meetings as it is all online on the website now. If you have any problems contact Kathy and she will help you through it. Clothing tab is now on the main page of the website, no password needed to access.
Historian: Waldo Arnholz. No report.
Sunshine: Linda Thomsen. 4 cards were sent out this month. November Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Linda with the information.
Old Business: If you would like a copy of the slide show from the 60th Anniversary party bring a 16gb flash stick to the business meeting and Waldo will download it for you.
New Business: A review audit of the Club’s Treasury will be held. Discussed the need for a PA system. Motion for Club to purchase PA system made by Deanna Glossop and seconded by Bill Ingersoll. Motion carried. Donna Jochim is starting up the walking group again beginning Nov. 9th meet at SouthPark Mall, Dillards entrance at 5:30 pm. Motion to move Business Meeting time from 7pm to 6:30pm made by Bryan Glossop and seconded by Don VanDeWoestyne. Motion carried. This is effective starting with the December meeting. Asked members to help clean up the meeting room and were invited to City Limits. Motion to adjourn made by Linda Thomsen and seconded by Butch Thomsen. Meeting adjourned at 7:58 pm.
