President Quint Early called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. There were 25 members present and 0 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..

Reminder to set phones to silent, wear name tags to all club functions, donate for Birthday/Anniversaries/Name tags at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Sign-up sheet for Spring Bash Committee (April 7th) was sent around, if you’d like to be on the committee contact Jan Ebert. Sign-up for Social member participation for breakfast/dinner schedule was sent around. If you’d like to take a month during the year and plan the breakfast/dinner for that month, contact Donna Jochim. 2024 Drive out sheet was also passed. Members wishing to lead a drive out during the driving season can also let Donna know.

Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Ron Mathias and seconded by Bill Ingersoll. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Income was: Awards Dinner Reservations and Dividend. Expense was: Award Dinner Expense Paid. Charity: Income was: 50/50, Auction and Donations. Expense was: Christmas Disbursements and Donation-Richard Jochim. A balance sheet for the 2023 Awards Dinner was also passed showing the Budget and Expenses. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Marie Foster and seconded by Carol Mathias. Motion carried.

Governor’s Report: John Severs – Each Club has had in the past 10 sanctions to use during the year for events. It has been raised to 14 sanctions. John will learn more at the February Governor’s Meeting. If you are using the NCCC website the members password this year is 2024E-Ray.

Membership: Kristin Early – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Kristin know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Kristin know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. All changes have been sent to the Webmaster. The Club has 120 members. Frels attains their 25 years with the Club this year. Congratulations. Sean and Debi McKay now have a 2007 Atomic Orange Convertible. Congratulations.

Social: Donna Jochim – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Donna was absent so Carl did the report. January 11 Breakfast 9 am. at 4th Ave Coffee Pancake House (former Habaneros) 4601 4th Ave. Moline IL. January 23 Dinner 6 pm. at Famous Dave’s BBQ 1110 E. Kimberly Rd. Davenport IA. Donna will be working on a tentative Drive Out and Social Schedule. Send her any dates you want to reserve for your special events and drive outs. She is also asking for members to choose a month to plan the Breakfast/Dinner meets during the year. Spring Bash will be April 7th at Izzac Walton 8840 N. Harrison St. Davenport IA. More info to follow. Spring Rallye April 21 starting at Eriksen Chevrolet 325 1st Ave. Milan IL. More info to follow. Waterfalls & Wineries April 27-29 hotel Country Inn and Suites 563-387-9011, block under Mid-West Corvettes until March 29th or sold out, party bus to Twin Spring Supper Club Saturday night. Corvettes In Paradise April 25-28 host resort Margaritaville 573-348-3131 until March 14th or sold out. Car show registration on our website calendar (indicate outdoor parking). Low Speed August 25th. More info to follow.

Speed: Jeff Bellmyer – Nothing until February when Jeff will be looking for volunteers for the Spring Rallye. He has done an inventory on the cones the Club has and will report on that next month.

Communications: Michelle Ingersoll – Reminder emails are sent usually 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Michelle and she can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email and you are set up to receive emails.

Charity: Jan Ebert – 50/50 winners were Sean McKay and Kristin Early. Thank Yous from many of the end of year donations made were available to read. Jan did read one to give the members an idea of how appreciative the Thank Yous were.

If you have suggestions or ideas for website improvements, please let Chuck know. F.Y.I. Members are able to update information in your user profile including information on your Corvette such as Model, Year, Color, and License Plate #.

Car Shows: Jeff Bellmyer – Car Shows are on the Mid-West Corvettes Calendar on the Website. There are also links to external sites that list car shows. If you know of any local car shows let Jeff know.

Publicity: Open position

Parades: Jim Scranton – Absent. No report.

Quartermaster: Rita Painter and Patti Bellmyer – Patti is assisting Rita this year. Not getting anything new as there is plenty to choose from now. Will sell down what they have before getting more. Rita had Quint model the hoodie she got for him.

Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Nothing to report.

Sunshine: Cindy Kuehner – Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Cindy. No cards were needed to be sent last month.

Old Business: Club Appreciation Award was presented to Michelle Ingersoll as she was unable to attend the Award Dinner last month.

New Business: No New Business. Everyone was asked to help clean up the meeting room and invited to Luli’s afterward.
