Secretary’s Report: Jan Ebert – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Jeff Olson and seconded by Marie Foster. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed around a current Club’s balance sheet for members to see. Main Account: Income was: $0 Expense was: $0. Balance in Main Account is $4,590.25. Governor’s Report: Roger Miller – Attended NCCC meeting on February 22 in St. Louis. Quite interesting. It’s a great group and a lot of Corvette attire. It was a good experience. A report was given on going to this meeting. There’s a binder in the black cabinet with waiver and parental consent forms. Talk about MWC membership application and NCCC application. A copy of the Constitution, By-Laws, and SOP are in that binder. This way if we need it, we have it. All officers have a key. The membership form on the website was slightly different so NCCC has it changed and now it will be the same. Re car shows, Club members cannot win at their own car shows. The 2025 NCCC at Wisconsin Dells link is online. 121 have registered from the Midwest and usually it’s 350 nationally. Currently there are no tours of the Corvette plant. Membership nationally is 230 clubs with 16,325 members with under age 16 having 1,056 members. NCCC is projected to have a loss of $170,000 for 2025. Insurance cost went up three percent in 2025. NCCC is looking at ways to attract younger members as NCCC is getting smaller each year. It was voted to eliminate jacket patches. It was talked about to cut the annual meetings from four to three a year; hold one by Zoom.

Membership: Cindy Kuehner – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Cindy know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Cindy know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. New member tonight is Dave Hangiman (spelling??). He has a 2008 C6, a garage find, 4,444 miles on it.

Social: Donna Jochim – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. Do we want a picnic in the park at West Lake; maybe paddle boat vs sack race? A quick survey of members present indicated that we want this event; a date will be figured out for this. Drive out April 12 is open for someone to lead it. If you would like to lead it, please do so. Sean McKay talked about the mileage contest. Eight cars are entered so far. Mileage is what is driven by each contestant from last meeting (February 4) until our November 2025 meeting. $20 to enter. One-half of the entry fee goes to charity. Breakfast is cancelled for tomorrow due to pending bad weather. Dinner Club is Thursday 3/20,6 p.m. at Coal Creek Inn, 101 22nd Avenue in Coal Valley; hosted by Terry Johnson and Cindy Kuehner. Lake of Ozark April 24-27; flyers are available; room block is until 3/12. Club anniversary party is May 3; dinner at Eriksen’s. There will be a group photo so sign up so we know how many cars. There will be a drone photo. Ingersolls and Severs will lead the May 17-19 waterfalls and wineries drive out. Sean McKay talked about the Black Hills Corvette Classic on July 16-10. Tail of the Dragon/Vettes vs Dragon is September 11-14. Fall car show is October 4, Fall drive out for October 17-19 to LaCrosse, Wisconsin, with Quint and Kristin Early helping Raleigh and Pam.

There is a St. Jude charity raffle; next drawing is May 3; this is for tires, etc. Discussion if the club is interested in buying a raffle ticket at $25. Motion by Sharon Morrissey to do so, second by Jeff Bellmyer, discussion that if we win, then use it as a raffle item at the car show; passed. Cindy Kuehner’s sister Cheryl Bealer has cancer; the same type Donna has had; request made for $200 donation. Donna Jochim made motion, Sharon Morrissey second, passed. An envelope was passed around for any member who wanted to also donate; Donna matched this. Raffle: banana bread won by Gail Olson. Cookies were won by Jan Ebert, chocolate pie was won by Jan Ebert. Gale Brown and Del Traub won the 50/25/25 raffle; both donated their winnings back.

A new thing for our anniversary year of 1960 is Fun Facts. This month’s facts were by Donna Jochim: MWC started May 1,1960, by Paul Cassel (spelling?) with seven Corvettes and 12 people at Prospect Park. Bobby and Russel Bentley were married the same day.
