President Quint Early called the meeting to order at 6:32PM. There were 32 members present and 0 guests. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence was observed for all Veterans, Fallen, Past and Current Military Personnel and First Responders..

Reminder to set phones to silent, wear nametags to all Club functions and donate for Birthdays/Anniversaries/No Name Tag at the beginning of the meeting if wishing to do so. Sign-up sheets were passed for Rosemont Car Show and Dinner, Christmas Awards Banquet and 65th Club Anniversary (May) for Chairperson and Committee. Quint read off those nominated for the 2025 Board of Directors positions. Only one person was running for each position, so the membership was asked for their approval, it was given. The list of Board members for 2025 will appear in the New Business section of these minutes.

Secretary’s Report: Susan Severs – The minutes will only be posted to the website. Motion to accept the Minutes as submitted was made by Marie Foster and seconded by Patti Bellmyer. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Carl Burney – Passed a current Club’s balance sheet around for members to see. Income was: Dividend, Membership Renewals, Awards Dinner Reservations, Donations and KAM Low Speed Profit. Expense was: John Severs Governor Meeting Expense. Charity: Income was: 50/50, Auction Items and Donations. Expense was: OHL Strong Foundation. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report made by Sherri Brown and seconded by Patti Bellmyer. Motion carried.

Governor’s Report: John Severs – No Report

Membership: Kristin Early – If you have a lost or damaged, need a name change on your Club name tag, let Kristin know, she’ll get you a new one. If you have changes (car, plates, address, phone, etc.) let Kristin know so she can update the information. And don’t forget – members can update their information themselves including any updates to your Corvette model, year, color, and license plate. Kristin went through the list of those not renewing their memberships. Reminded that you can still renew at any time but will have to pay the extra $10 fee for late renewal.

Social: Donna Jochim – We welcome and encourage all members to take an active role to plan and lead 1 drive out. This Saturday possible Drive Out, Weather Permitting. Meet 9:30am former Ascentra 949 Mississippi View Court LeClaire IA. leave at 10am. Sean Mckay is leading going to Bellview IA. Will post on the Facebook page if still a go Saturday morning. Nov. 9 Euchre at Donna’s 5pm. 169 Beacon Harbor Circle East Moline IL. Nov. 13 Dinner 6 pm. Gramma’s Kitchen 3408 N Plainview Rd. Walcott IA .Nov. 23 Day trip meet at 8:45am leave 9am ride and share organized by those going, Rosemont IL. car show, shopping and dinner, contact Carl Burney or Donna Jochim. Dec. 3 Business meeting cookie exchange starts at 5:45pm before meeting. Dec. 15 Award and Christmas Banquet 11 am-3pm Lavendar Crest Winery 5401 US-6 Colona IL. $38 per person, checks made out to Mid West Corvette Club mail to Donna Jochim 169 Beacon Harbor Circle East Moline IL. 61244 must be in by Dec. 3rd meeting for final count. Patti Bellmyer asked for $ for the cake, decorations and gifts, motion by Jeff Olson and seconded by Quint Early. Motion carried. Jan 12-18 Carribean Cruise contact Sean McKay if interested. April Corvettes In Paradise weekend, more info to come. May 17-19 Waterfalls and wineries weekend 563-387-9011 for hotel booking. May is 65th Club Anniversary, want to be Chair or on committee contact Donna Jochim. Sept.11-14 Vettes Vs the Dragon contact Donna Jochim for more info. Sean McKay asked for donation for a couple doing the St. Jude Fundraiser drive, noted that this is on our end of year donations list.

Speed: Jeff Bellmyer – Nothing to report.

Communications: Michelle Ingersoll – Reminder emails are sent at least 1 per week. If you are not getting these, contact Michelle and she can help you with this or go to the Club website and under the Members tab there is a link for MailChimp, enter your name and email and you are set up to receive emails. There was a small problem with the emails, was fixed and working correctly again.

Charity: Jan Ebert – Absent. Donna and Carl did the honors. 50/50 winners were Cindy Kuehner and Debi McKay. Year-end donations- 6 new which left room for 4 others, for the funds available to donate. They are: K Kids, Honor Flight, My Gear Outreach, Youth Hope, Humble Dwellings, QC Paws, 2nd Story Youth Group, Bishop Hill Old Settlers, St. Jude, QC Children’s Therapy. Motion made by Kristin Early and seconded by Cindy Kuehner. Motion carried. Auction item Wine Basket went to Troy Eichelberger, ticket items- sunglasses and case-Patric Nichols, homemade bread-Patti Bellmyer and coconut cream pie- Cindy Kuehner who then said to auction it, and Debi McKay took it home.

If you have suggestions or ideas for website improvements, please let Chuck know. F.Y.I. Members are able to update information in your user profile including information on your Corvette such as Model, Year, Color, and License Plate #. The webmaster position is open, there have been 3 interested in doing this, Vortex Digital Business Solutions, Jonathan Burney and Luxe Marketing and Design. All were discussed, a motion to move forward with Luxe Marketing and Design was made by Jeff Olson and seconded by Carol Mathias. Motion carried.

Car Shows: Jeff Bellmyer – Car Shows are on the Mid-West Corvettes Calendar on the. There are also links to external sites that list car shows. If you know of any local car shows let Jeff know. Rosemont IL. car show Nov. 23rd

Publicity: Open position

Parades: Jim Scranton – No report

Quartermaster: Rita Painter and Patti Bellmyer – Make an offer on gently used clothing available, will be donated out at the end of the year. Discussed shirts for the Club’s 65th Anniversary and possibly a banner. More to follow.

Historian: Waldo Arnholz – Absent. No report.

Sunshine: Cindy Kuehner – Birthdays and Anniversaries were noted. If you have knowledge of Club members, such as get-wells, deaths, births, etc. please contact Cindy. 2 cards were sent out this past month.

Old Business: Nothing.

New Business: Thank You card from the Bogerts who help with a day of driving on the Winona weekend was read. Jeff Olson talked about the discount Eriksen’s give Club members, does not count on tires but they do match competitors prices, so something to keep in mind. Gale Brown handed out some cards on the Chula Vista Corvette Adventures June 6-8 2025 Wisconsin Dells.
