Hi – For those folks in the club that change their own engine oil and filter (like me), I thought I would pass this information on to the club members regarding the correct oil filter to use for (at least) the 2014 Corvettes. My 2014 Corvette requires a PF64 by the OM, but when I went to buy one at my local oil filter parts source (not an OEM parts supplier), the electronic catalog suggested a PF48. After doing some research online, I found the following 2017 Corvette Service Bulletin #17-NA-157 titled: Information On Spin-On Oil Filter Replacement For Gas Engines Designed with New Oil Pump Control Systems. The bulletin explains why NOT TO USE a PF48. Please pass this on to the club members. Thanks, Randy Carlz
