Randy Huber

To our current and future MWC Members,

Here it is and spring has pulled our Corvettes out of hibernation. We are already well into the 2017 driving season. With our club’s Spring Rallye and our Spring Drive-out already in the books, we can look forward to our weekend drive-outs, parades, and car shows.

As our club celebrates our 57th birthday, I want to thank all the current members for their loyalty and commitment to the club. And for our new members, I look forward to your participation and growing friendship as we log Corvette miles together. The experience of our current members and the energy of our new members is what keeps our club growing and creating new adventures.

While only coming into June, our Vettes on the River 2017 (VOTR) Core Committee has been planning our August event since the first week in March. This year’s event promises to be even bigger than last years and I know we will continue to break our attendance records and amounts donated. August 26th on the Le Claire Iowa Levee will be here before you know it.

But before VOTR, we have many, many events and activities on tap for our club to enjoy. I invite you all to participate as much as you can and enjoy all that the club has-to offer. Consider volunteering to be on an event committee, or plan a drive-out. One thing I am most proud of in our club is that there is no shortage of volunteers when called upon. Another key component of our club that gives me great pride is the boundless charity that our members have when asked to help those who need a hand up. We continue to dig deep for our children’s charities and our Veterans with donations and actions that are truly heartfelt.

So, my wish for you is safe travels and personal health during our Corvette season… we are truly fortunate to have come together and belong to an organization that is firing on all eight cylinders…

… Enjoy the road!
Best regards,
Randy Huber – President – Mid-West Corvettes
