COMMUNITY
Connecting With The Quad CitiesMore Than Just Fiberglass
Our organization is most proud when we can lend support to others in need.
Throughout the year, our members time & time again step-up to raise thousands of dollars to provide financial assistance to children with illnesses in the surrounding Quad Cities area. And when an illness affects one of our members, it affects all of us, and no one rests until we have done our best to get one of our own healthy again and back in that Corvette.
Several Christmas holiday seasons since 2010, our organization has donated 21 fully assembled bicycles and 21 bike safety helmets to the Toy’s-For Tot’s program. We also donate extensively to Angel Tree, Coats for Kids, and many other charitable organizations during the holiday season.
In 2014 we expanded our donation recipient list to include our Veterans. Our Vettes on the River event has enabled us to support our Veterans and give back, in a small way, to those who gave so much. It is an honor to work with our Veterans on this event and support them and their families.
Our focus is to disperse fundraiser proceeds directly to the benefactor(s) to ensure that 100% of the funds raised go to those that need it the most.
To be sure, the members of this club are blessed with good fortune, family, and friends. And with that comes our personal commitment to give to those who need it the most. Corvettes may be how we came together as a group, but it is our charity work and community involvement where we find our common values and best defines Mid-West Corvettes as a charitable organization.
