Hay everyone! November is just around the corner and you know what that means! For those who are interested it’s the annual MUSCLE CAR AND CORVETTE NATIONALS car show at the Stephens Center in Rosemont Il. .
I’m organizing our annual pilgrimage to the show on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22 followed by the obligatory dinner on the way home at PRIME QUARTER STEAK HOUSE in PRINCETON.
I need to know who is interested so I can get the restaurant reservation made. Details will be firmed up as the interest is determined.
Last year some of the women came to go shopping while the guys were busy drooling on super cool cars. Of course, ladies are allowed to look at the cars also. That can be an option for this year if desired.
It’s best to car pool there as much as possible as parking is $15-20. Advance tickets to the show purchased online are $40. I’m pretty sure it’s $45 if you buy tickets at the door. Let me know if you’re interested and/or willing to drive. I’ve got room for 4 others besides myself in my truck. Right now I just need to know how many want to go. We can organize the rest at our next club meeting.
